Mountain Parking Guide

Parking Options & Services

Free parking is offered at each base lodge – Main, Canyon and Eagle Lodges – along with preferred and specialty parking options. Parking areas can fill up quickly on weekends and peak holiday periods, but there are several options for you to skip parking altogether and still get to the mountain with ease.

Before you arrive, figure out the best parking or alternative transportation option for you to ensure you get maximum slope time.

Overnight parking is prohibited in all parking areas. Violators will be towed or ticketed for obstructing snow removal.

General Parking  |  FREE

Each base lodge offers parking areas free of charge. Please refer to the parking maps below.

Preferred Parking  |  $30 / $40 on Peak Weekends & Holidays

Preferred parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis – look for the white and black “PREFERRED PARKING” signs posted in each of the parking lots, as well an attendant in a yellow jacket to take your payment (cash only). Your parking space will not be reserved for you if you leave.

Guest Drop-Off Zone  |  10 Minute Parking

Mammoth guests are welcome to use the Guest Drop-Off Zone for easy loading/unloading of belongings and equipment. Follow the orange parking lot signs then park parallel in the drop-off zone while loading/unloading. If you must leave your car unattended, please turn on your hazard lights while away from the vehicle.

A supply of blue wagons is available for use to help transport your gear from the car to the locker rooms. Please return wagons to the drop-off zone after use for other guests to enjoy.

Black Pass Parking Area

Mammoth Black Passholders are offered designated priority parking as part of their exclusive passholder benefits. A valid, visible Black Pass parking permit must be visible to park there. Violators will be booted and charged a service fee.
